Pelvic Health Physical Therapy
Pelvic floor physical therapy is a specialized treatment designed to address dysfunction in the pelvic floor muscles. Depending on your symptoms, the therapy may focus on relaxing and lengthening the muscles or strengthening them. This type of therapy can be beneficial for individuals experiencing incontinence, difficulty with urination or bowel movements, constipation, chronic pelvic pain, painful intercourse, or other intimacy-related concerns.
Orthopedic Physical Therapy
Whether you're recovering from a recent injury, surgery, or dealing with chronic pain, orthopedic physical therapy is designed to help you heal, regain strength, and improve mobility. Through personalized treatment plans, we target the root causes of pain and dysfunction, helping you restore function and improve your quality of life. Our goal is to reduce pain, increase flexibility, and support you in returning to your daily activities—pain-free and with greater ease.
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy, particularly with the SoftWave device, is a groundbreaking treatment that uses acoustic pulses to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes. These pulses promote increased blood flow, stimulate the creation of healthy new blood vessels, reduce inflammation, and enhance tissue elasticity. Most notably, shockwave therapy activates stem cells, which can regenerate and replace damaged cells, accelerating healing and recovery.
This treatment is highly versatile and can be used alongside other therapies, such as dry needling, massage, and customized exercises, or as a stand-alone option. It has been proven to reduce pain and inflammation without any side effects.
We use Shockwave therapy for a wide range of conditions, including low back pain, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s Disease, pelvic pain, plantar fasciitis, achilles tendinitis, rotator cuff tendinitis and much more. Because the benefits of shockwave therapy can address nearly any area of the body, it’s an effective solution for a wide variety of concerns.
Virtual Pelvic Health Coaching
If you know you have pelvic floor dysfunction but don’t have a physical therapist nearby, or if you're working with a local therapist but aren’t seeing the progress you'd like, our Pelvic Health Coaching sessions offer a fresh perspective and expert guidance. Whether you're looking for an additional opinion or need support to push through a plateau, these one-on-one coaching sessions are designed for you.
Each coaching session lasts a full hour and includes a comprehensive subjective intake assessment, a visual movement analysis, and a guided orthopedic and pelvic floor examination—all conducted virtually. Your therapist will walk you through various assessments using your hands to better understand your symptoms. From there, they'll help clarify your condition, develop a personalized action plan, and provide targeted education, tools, and resources to support your treatment goals.
